- Typographic Type Specimen for RISO Printing

For this project, we needed to create type specimens for a typeface that was assigned. These type specimens were to feature the typeface in an interesting and dynamic way and needed to only use two colors (for RISO printing). The font I was assigned is called Brandon Grotesque by Hannes von Döhren. I chose to focus on displaying this typeface at a large size since Brandon Grotesque’s small x-height creates readability problems at smaller sizes.
This was a complementary font that I used in the type specimen.
